Bercher's Burkheimer Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) is a juicy, full-bodied ruby red. It has spicy sweet aromas of dark chocolate, orange and figs, complimented by a smooth, filigree acidity on the palate.
Soil: Volcanic.
Vinification: Mash fermentation, 15 months in barrique (French oak barrels).
Food Recommendation: This dry Spätburgunder pairs perfectly with rabbit roulade with dried prunes or rack of lamb with a tapenade crust.
