2nd of Advent - Winemaker Calendar: Arne Bercher

We’re thrilled to kick off the 2nd week of Advent with the amazing Arne Bercher from the renowned Bercher winery! Arne is sharing one of her personal favorites with us: the 2021 Burkheimer Schlossgarten Villinger Grauburgunder Grand Cru dry.

This Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris) Grand Cru showcases a rich golden-yellow hue. Enormously smooth, this dry white wine delights with elegant fruit notes of ripe pineapple and pear, balanced by a harmonious acid structure. The vines used to craft this masterpiece are 38 years old.
