Vineyard: After the Alsarian Weissenburg Inclined to the south above the location VDP.Grosse Gewächs "Sankt Paul".
The soil is based on a large limestone rock with a very low circulation of clayey loamy topsoil.
Vinification: The grapes were carefully selected by hand, destemmed and fermented on the mash. After three weeks of fermentation in open oak vats they were gently pressed. The following maturation are for 18 months in small oak barrels. The filling was done without filtration and fining on the wine.
Wine: Intense and dense ruby red.
Wonderful scent of blackberries, cherry, pipe tobacco, vanilla and bittersweet chocolate. Strong tannin, punchy ten elegant and flattering in the mouth with endless play and elegant reverberation.
Great storage potential.
