"You can feel the tightness in the tannins here. Light smokiness, light meantiness. Bitter oranges." / Tamlyn Currin @ Jancis Robinson / 16.5 ++
Tasting note: This Spätburgunder Grand Cru has intense aromas of fully ripe sweet cherries, dark berries and violets in the nose. Very full bodies and concentrated on the palate, warm and smooth with an immerse depth. A well balanced velvety tannin structure carries the fruit. Long lasting finish with hints of cloves and cinnamon. An excellent example for the vintage 2018.
