"'A perfect vintage', says Groebe; back to the rules'. Greengage and shihing in the mouth, crystalline. There is a delicate intensity to the citrus notes. an underlay of orange blossom, the finest scratch of stone, quinine bite and this ping-pong juiciness that seems to pick up a crack of salt flakes as it flies across the palate. This really a joy to taste."

Wine: K. F. Groebe's estate Riesling is fine, lively and crisp. A dry white wine for everyday enjoyment and for any occasion.
Vineyard: The grapes used to produce this Riesling mostly originate from Groebe's Aulerde vineyard in Westhofen. The soil there is rich in loess loam, and has a clayey layer with even gravelly sand underground, providing excellent drainage.
A very small proportion of the grapes come from their Kirchspiel vineyard, which is also in Westhofen. The clay marl soil there is rich in limestone.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested at the beginning of October, then fermented and matured in wooden casks using traditional methods. The wine is then stored on the fine yeast until it is bottled, which preserves its freshness and liveliness.
Alcohol: 12,5% vol.
