This Reisling has a harmonious, delicate balance between fruit and acidity, giving it a refreshing aftertaste. A typical Rheingau Riesling, it is full of expression and minerality.
The criteria for a Charta wine was established since 1983. Based on the tradition of trusty Rheingau quality standards, it has made a significant contribution to creating a recognisable image of Rhaingau Riesling. The Charta thus paved the way for the VDP. Grosse Gewächs: historically the big brother, and in terms of taste the little sister of their GGs.
The grapes for this Charta are harvested from Allendrof’s best vineyards in Winkel and Geisenheim. The vines are 30 to 50 years old. The base wine for this high quality cuveé come exclusively from the VDP classified area.
