The story of the wine:
Joachim Heger dedicated this classic of a wine to his father when he took over the estate in 1992. Wolfgang Heger, who died in 2004 and who was a great fan of this wine, was called Mimus as a child.
It shows an ornate window with lead mullions, which still exists in the estate house today. Grandmother Emilie Heger was a great lover of art and music. She had this window made with a design by Abrecht Dürer and dedicated it to Wolfgang Heger, nicknamed Mimus, who was 10 years old at the time.
