Schloss Reinhartshausen’s 2017 Erbacher Marcobrunn Riesling Kabinett is an IWC 2019 Gold Award Winner.
This Kabinett has a rich fruity flavour of ripe apples and stone fruits. It has a wonderfully harmonious balance between acidity and residual sugar, which gives the wine a long finish.
The Marcobrunn vineyard is a slightly sloping south-facing within the boundaries of Erbach. Its name dates back to the 13th century and stems from a spring on the border between Erbach and Hattenheim. The vine area, which is only 6,7 hectares, grows only Riesling. Heavy loess loam and chalky, sandy soil ensures a perfect nutrient supply and regulates the water levels during the dry periods.
This wine is the perfect companion for orange glazed duck breast of stuffed turkey.
