Between Hallgarten and Assmannshausen where the Rhine changed the vines grow sheltered by the Taunus. Due to the change of directions, the vineyard faces south and the vines get blessed by sunlight. The versatile grounds from loess and quartzite offer many facets.
The Hasensprung is one of Allendorf's best vineyard site, known for its geep loam-loess soil. That offers the possibility to produce well-structured and intense wines.
Intense aromas of ripe peach with a hint of litchi. Powerful with an excellent body. The wine has a crystal clear structure with a nice play of sweetness and acidity.
Food recommendation: Great partner to spicy food, strong cheese.
