Complex bouquet of blackberry and elderberry, red cherry, raspberry, vanilla and dark chocolate, aroma of cedarwood, elegant tannins. Good structure and intensity on the palate. Multi-layered aftertaste and good potential.
Soil: Slate and greywacke decomposition stone.
Viification: Fullt ripeness of grapes and hand picking. Selection of grapes. Yield about 35-40 hl/ha. Crushed must fermentation and maceration for about 20 days. Maturing in barriques (French oak) for 12 months. 50% new oak.
Food Recommendations: At the drink temperature of 15-16 this wine goes well with poultry, light meat, pasta, and mushrooms as well as a spicy companion to grilled stronger spiced fish.
