The grapes that produced this Lemberger were harvested in the November and had a long fermentation on the mash in French wooden fermenters - vinification in 60% new barrels.
The delicious red wine has a very dense taste of blackcurrants with juniper berries, pepper and vanilla notes. The combination of new and used wooden barrels gives a harmonious tannin structure. Overall it is a complex wine with a variety of flavours.
